Why mobile design matters

If you thought the online world revolved around laptops and PCs, think again. The mobile marketplace is booming, and the figures speak for themselves: according to recent statistics a third of adults use smartphones whilst 3.62million people own tablet computers in the UK, and on a more global level there are around 1.2billion active mobile broadband subscriptions worldwide. That’s a huge section of the market you need to cater to, because for many of these mobile devices a regular website simply won’t cut it.
